Australian Leadership Award Fellowship - integrated water management
The International WaterCentre hosted ten water professionals from China’s Yellow River Conservancy Commission (YRCC) in a seven-month long professional development program. Two participants received a Graduate Certificate in Integrated Water Management Program. The eight other participants received a Certificate of Program Completion from the IWC.

The program was aimed at the professional development of individuals working within integrated water resource management. The ten participants engaged in a combination of academic studies and experiential learning. This format provided an opportunity for fellows to broaden their knowledge of integrated water resource management while pursuing their areas of interest and expertise through personalised work plans and one-month placement with an Australian water industry partner.
In addition to the work placement, training involved the use of Australian and international case studies, field trips, individual tutorials and group activities. Modules covered included project management, science of water and environmental flows and rehabilitation.
