Learn real-world skills

The IWC integrated approach considers environment, politics, law, science, culture, engineering, economics, health and society.

Half the course is taught through lectures, half through working in teams and on individual projects, based in Australian or international settings.

  • Masters students receive $1,000 towards professional development and $1,000 towards the third semester research project.

Integrated approach to water management

We teach a collaborative and integrated approach to sustainable water resource management, which not only considers engineering solutions, but also social, environmental, policy and legal aspects.

 

Is this program for you?

IWC students come from a wide variety of fields, including engineering, social sciences, physical sciences, humanities, planning, political science, and many others to bring their unique skills to water management.

Students have a four year undergraduate degree in a related field of study and relevant work experience. They are new, mid or senior level professionals who see the IWC programs as a perfect vehicle to advance or change their career directions or gain new perspectives in their fields.

Upon graduation, IWC students may find employment in such areas as:
